What Is a Work Authorization?
Work authorization is when an individual receives an employment authorization document (EAD) permitting their employment in the United States.
Many citizens and permanent residents automatically meet the legal requirements for workin in the United States. On the other hand, certain groups do not have that legal advantage. For example, refugees and asylees have different criteria to meet as well. Come in for a consultation to see if you meet all eligibility requirements.

What Is the Process for Applying for an EAD?
The process for applying for an EAD usually entails filing an application with USCIS. This can be done at the same time that you are applying for permanent residence or a temporary legal status that permits employment.
From there, it is common for this process to take 90 days. However, it sometimes can be less and sometimes can be more. Just know that USCIS has to provide a response either by granting an EAD or explaining why they cannot grant one to you.
